"Embracing My Neurodivergent Mind: A Nest of Perceptions"

Dive deeper into Julie Peterson-Shea’s work. She has described her work below.

“In this pen and ink illustration, I present the intricate world inside a skeleton’s head.

Meet Frank, my patient skeleton model, as he embodies the essence of my own neurodivergent experience. Just like the fibers woven together within that bird’s nest, my mind is a tapestry of diverse perceptions from various corners of life.

With this illustration, I invite you to glimpse into the intricate maze of my neurodivergent mind, where beauty and peculiarity harmoniously coexist. May it inspire understanding and appreciation for the diverse ways in which we all interpret the world around us.”

Phase 2
Continues

202 is making big strides! New floors in the restroom hallway, Storage area Renovation, Mock-up of planned event space entrance wall, and wall tear down for event space.

Nourishing the roots of our community.

It is the mission of CC4C to contribute to the community by supporting and fostering creativity. They are excited to expand the gallery as well as bring a modern event space, commercial kitchen, and outdoor event space to the community.

“The 202 project is a very unique project for Northwest Kansas. Upon completion it will allow a very versatile space to be used for anything from weddings to trade shows to traveling art exhibits business conferences. It's only limitation is the size of your imagination! This is a very vital step to the community becoming a destination instead of a pitstop on the way through. It is very exciting to see this vision come to fruition.”

Donate to the Project

None of this would be possible without generous donors. A renovated 202 on Washington will establish itself as a creative and cultural hub for the area. Through the involvement of community members, and others who are interested in being part of this visionary and imaginative project, these ideas will become reality. If you’d like to be part of the legacy, please consider donating today.
